Joe Buttross

 Joe Buttross earned a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Business Administration Management and a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Louisiana State University. 

After several years in the private sector, he joined the Department of Public Safety and Corrections in 2013 as Administrative Director for the Division of Prison Enterprises and now serves as Assistant Warden for Classification at Elayn Hunt Correctional Center, which oversees the operations of the Classification, Records and Reentry Departments for the EHCC Reception Center and permanent population. 

Assistant Warden Buttross has been the Chairman of the LCA Conference Golf tournament for the past four years and is currently co-chairing the 2022 LCA Conference.
